Browsing the Shelves for Art Books

Jackson College uses Library of Congress Classification (LCC) to organize our books, which uses a series of one or two letters followed by numbers to form the call number.

You can find books on art both upstairs in our main stacks and downstairs in our oversize collection - all are available for checkout! Our oversize books are big volumes which have many large color photographs of artistic works in them. There are also books in our reference collection downstairs that are extremely helpful - these are available to be used in the library.

Here are the areas to browse when looking for books on art!
